BLACK BALANCE was founded by Tomas Weinreb and Petr Kazda to make auteur cinema. The company produced the multi-award-winning Czech-Polish-French-Slovak feature film I, Olga Hepnarova (2016).

 

Petr Kazda was born in Prague (1978), Tomas Weinreb was born in Stod nearby Pilsen (1982). 

 

Both of them graduated from the Independent Film College in Pisek as well as from the Film School of Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU),

from the department of  scriptwriting and documentary filmmaking respectively.
